New York City!

This month, I have been invited to join my good friend Cory Weeds on his annual "New York With Weeds" tour. This will be his fifth tour of duty heading to NYC, acting as tour guide to New York City's top notch jazz scene. I have wanted to go for the last two years, but couldn't swing it for one reason or another. This year, it was just too good of a deal to pass up!

Not only will there be top notch jazz music and meals each and every night, we'll be staying at the Kitano in Manhattan (very central to many jazz clubs), get to attend a hockey game at MSG (to see our beloved Canucks @ Rangers), and will enjoy one of my favourite rock bands, the Chris Robinson Brotherhood at the Gramercy Theater, less than a mile away from our hotel as well.

I will be keeping a blog of each day as I experience what New York City has to offer.  I will be leaving a week tomorrow on a red-eye flight, and will be experiencing NYC for the first time.

Can't wait to share pictures and stories here.  =)  Let's hope the weather warms up a bit!
